Welkome!
I'm Yuliya Zadorozhniuk, an artist from Mykolaiv, Ukraine. My art is an invitation to deep self-reflection and empathy, a way to truly grasp how interconnected we all are.
Inspired by the concept of mirror neurons, I explore the human experience through portraiture. For me, every portrait is a unique imprint of the past – the life experiences, tragedies, successes, or sufferings etched onto a person's face. This is how I delve into the human psyche, capturing inner worlds on paper.

For the past three years, I've been living and working in the Netherlands. This period has brought a profound transformation in my perception of reality. Now, I'm particularly drawn to themes of identity, socialization, and reflection.
Using diverse materials, I experiment and engage with this new culture through the faces of the people around me. This constant dialogue between tradition and modernity, between the personal and the collective, expands my creative range and deepens my exploration of human nature.
In 2024, I had the honor of presenting my works at significant exhibitions such as Limburg Biennale and Agua Art Miami.
